Clanfield, Hampshire – 2013

Garden renovation project – The client requested that the garden be leveled, as the existing garden had a significant fall across the lawn area and back towards the house. There was a wasted area at the side of the property, which they would have liked to use as storage, but unfortunately was unusable due to uneven ground and weed ingress. The existing patio area was tired, dated and not practical for their growing family needs. In addition there was a hard stand area towards the rear of the garden that needed to be excavated and laid to lawn.

The job involved breaking up the existing patio area, hard-standing and the unused area to the side of the property. Installing an Aco drain across the rear of the property to channel surface water run off into the storm drain system. Installation of a green oak sleeper retaining wall to terrace the lawn from the patio and hold back the neighbour’s boundary fence at the side of the property.
